An exciting contrast: the Kunsthalle Wien, located at the heart of the “Museumsquartier” – a quarter of modern and contemporary art museums – combines Johann Fischer von Erlach’s architecture with provocative present-day art. Its multifaceted exhibits focus on photography, video, film, installations, and the new media. Six large-scale exhibitions a year – staged in two halls – ensure a continuous program.

The Kunsthalle Wien offers regular guided tours on weekends, as well as special tours to be arranged by prior appointment.
